Description

At a time when the prevalence of trauma is especially high, particularly among women, we’ll explore the benefits of mindfulness as part of a trauma-sensitive, or trauma-informed practice.

Our discussion will focus on the pervasive impact of trauma, its symptoms, and the effectiveness of response. The cultivation of meaning and purpose is also a central way trauma can be transformed from a distressed state to long-lasting growth.
