Description

Our schools have now been closed for nearly two months. Young people have been suddenly separated from friends and teachers, and there are particular concerns around safeguarding the most vulnerable children in our society. Dan Hughes is a clinical psychologist, author and the developer of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. Drawing on attachment theory and neuroscience, he will join us to discuss ways in which therapists can help support parent-child relationships at this time. We will also be thinking about the role schools and other organisations may need to play in the mental health of children and adolescents going forward, and asking Dan to reflect on what enduring impact this time may have on young psyches.
