How can mindfulness benefit our clients (and ourselves) at a time of crisis? Caroline Welch is the CEO and co-founder (with Dan Siegel) of the Mindsight Institute, and author of The Gift of Presence: A Mindfulness Guide for Women. Drawing on her own 40-year mindfulness journey, and interviews with over 100 women from diverse backgrounds, she has concluded that the key to being more present in our lives is to practice mindfulness wherever we are, and whenever we can. We’ll be asking Caroline how these insights can translate to a time of lockdown. Join her for an understanding of the benefits of mindfulness for de-stressing and increasing executive function, and an exploration of the ways in which individuals, children and families might be supported to incorporate it into their everyday lives – however, pressured these have become.
This online program is worth 1 hours CPD.
