You wouldn’t label someone as damaged or sick for trying to put themselves out if they were on fire.
But as a society, we often misunderstand and stigmatise traumatised people when they show outward signs of emotional distress, aggressive behaviour and other detrimental symptoms...
… despite these being natural and adaptive responses to the trauma that is causing them unimaginable pain.
Some traditional “top-down” approaches see traumatic symptoms as a malfunction of the mind, something that can be reasoned out of our clients with just words. These approaches can even blame and shame clients for their lack of control, failing to recognise that these traumatic responses are entirely automatic and hardwired into us for survival.
We need to do better.
The Felt Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM) is a unique approach that combines the latest neuroscience with the cornerstone of all body-based psychotherapeutic practises for a truly ground-breaking, effective and transformative treatment method that treats trauma in an empowering rather than pathologizing manner.
And during this FREE workshop, you’ll discover exactly how you can use the model to heal trauma with your own clients directly from the creator, expert, author and psychotherapist Jan Winhall, MSW, FOT!
Jan will demonstrate the power of FSPM through a combination of skills presentations, practical exercises, illustrative case studies, participant demonstrations and more...
PLUS! You'll have the chance to submit your own client case for personalised supervision directly from Jan... included FREE with your registration!
Join us and help your clients reclaim their connection to their bodies, repair their self-esteem and begin their journey of healing and integration.
